We had a fun weekend celebrating Greyson's birthday. His great-grandparents came to help us celebrate and Greyson loved the extra attention. Grandpa showed up one night earlier than Mormor and so we took him on a picnic.
When his grandparents come, he wants them to help him with everything and do everything with them.
We got to see the ducks and seagulls. Greyson was ready to walk around the whole greenbelt loop.
We stopped for ice cream at the local dairy after our picnic. I thought this was a cute picture showing the generations. We are just missing Adam's mom.
Mormor came the next day. We took Greyson to his first movie at the theatre. We chose to go to the cheap theatre in case he didn't like it and saw Rio 2. He spent the entire movie on Mormor's lap and ate popcorn with both hands in the container throughout the movie. He would just look at us and smile.
He wanted hamburgers for his birthday dinner so we went to 5 Guys. Too bad he made more of a mess than he ate, but oh well. Greyson got to set up his water table that my family gave him and played with his friend when I babysat. They had a blast. We had such a great time with his grandparents. I am so grateful they came and so grateful for the help and fun they brought with them.
